out little nature man...

Xavier loves being outdoors. He will spend hours playing with sticks, rocks, dirt and he is an expert at finding little bugs and animals that we can barely see.
This week he came running to find me to show me what he had found! And it was a tiny little lizard. So off i ran to get the camera :)

milestones..

As a mummy its funny how such little milestones that your kids achieve become such a big event :)
This week our little miss turned 8 months old. we have her 8 month check at the CHN next week so then i can update on her stats as i have no idea how much she weighs at the moment.
But our milestone this week was the #1 toothy pegs arrival. For a couple days Eden was grizzly and waking up at night so i thought she must be coming down with a cold, but then yesterday i noticed that we finally had a tooth on our little gummy bear! She has managed to overtake her brother with this event as he got his first tooth at 10months. So hopefully it means that its partner arrives soon too and i get my happy, easy baby back. Because boy do i miss my nights sleep :)

This morning she was playing happily in her playpen though so i took a few snaps of her blowing raspberries at her brother. She is a cheeky little thing and is usually such a happy little girl.

moments to treasure...

With life being so busy I just love it when finally the weekend appears and we get to sit down and breath a little. And my all time favourite part of weekends is the special time we get to spend as our little family. And yesterday was another was one of them. We packed our little darlings into the car and heading off down the park for a play and then some brekkie. I just love watching xavier having so much run running around crazily with his daddy and having the time of his life. Its one of those little things that make you sit back and treasure what a gorgeous relationship we can have with our little ones. At the moment little miss is extremely clingly and is a total mummy's girl - sometimes a little frustrating yet when you put it in the big scheme of things the amount of time that they are small and need you so much is so small in comparison thatyou realise that who cares if the washing needs doing or the floor needs vaccuming...Im going to pick up my precious little daughter and cuddle her close. And i just love it when xavier realises that eden needs attention and sits on the floor next to her and plays so nicely with her. Its so precious. I hope our 2 grow up to be the best of friends.
