...terrible blogger..

I know I'm doing a shocking job at keeping my blog up to date! I especially feel bad when I keep "prompting" someone else to update theirs so i can have a look!! =) Sorry! I know you'll forgive me. (i think). I promise i'll update soon. I just have to transfer some pics over from the other computer onto my laptop so that I actually have something interesting to put on here for you all! Welcome little man...

On this day last year we welcomed into the world our beautiful little baby boy, Xavier Blaede! We fell in love with him instantly at that moment and have loved watching our baby grow into a little man. We thank God that He has given us this beautiful task of raising him up to His glory. We love you HEAPS little munchkin! -xoxo-

family time...

Today we had a wonderful day spending quality time with family. We are just loving having Luke + Em here at the moment. To make the most of our time with them we all went out for the day. The boys went for a round of golf this morning which took a little longer than thought but that was fine. Em, Bianca, Amali, Xavier and myself went to Freo for some brekkie and some shopping and a play in the park. The weather held up nicely for us and we had a lot of fun. We met the boys later on at Creatures for late lunch and some drinks. Overall a great day and was so nice to be together. We're really going to miss them when they head back to Tassie later this week. Its just tooo long between visits! Must be our turn to go to Tassie next! (I'm not complaining!) Sorry i don't have any pics of the day - i forgot to take the camera along! =(

growing like a weed!

Our little boy is growing up so quickly! He is now becoming a really little man. We just love our cheeky little man though! We is continually coming up with news things which just make us laugh! His new thing is shaking his head 'no' at everything, even if he does mean yes. He is a super energetic boy and certainly keeps me on my toes. He has 3 teeth now. 2 on the bottom and 1 on the top - but on the side, not middle! He is not walking on his own yet - but is SO close! He loves to walk while you hold his hand. So I think it won't be long till he'll be running all over the house! We are looking forward to it, but I might just retract those words when he actually is! =) It's nearly his FIRST birthday too! Eeek - where does the time go! So hopefully i'll put some photos of his birthday up in a couple weeks.

...my big boy

Well our little boy is not really our little boy anymore. Every day we look at him and realize how much he is growing up. Just as we hoped the second little tooth has popped through! Yay!! Its very exciting! He is also such a chatterbox! He 'chats' constantly, all day long, waiting for me to respond and then keeps going. Its really cute to listen too. =) He really is a little man now! But I'll just pretend that he is still my baby!!

Do I see a ... TOOTH?!!

YES I DO! At the ripe ol' age of 10 months our little man has FINALLY got a tooth! It just cracked through the gum over night! I was extremely excited to see it! We have waiting a long painful time for this white gem to make its appearance. Not to think of all the painful times our man had to go through to get to this point. So now we will wait for its partner to arrive in its due time!
I'll try to get some photos of it soon! For now I'll just put one up that i took the other day.

discovering the big wide world...

Last week we went to Dad & Mum's for afternoon tea. It was such a nice day and so I just had to let Xavier roam around outside on the grass. He loves outdoors and can spend ages looking at the trees and birds. Its really cute to watch. Of course he loves to eat whatever he can find too..leaves, grass, bugs..all part of learning I guess!!

update...

again...its been way to long since I put up a new post. But considering our camera was out for repairs i didn't think a post without a photo would be exciting for anybody. We have been well at this end, busy of course like usual, but thats good i guess. Our little man has learnt to do much in the last few months. He crawls, pulls himself up on everything, furniture walks all the time, claps, clucks his tongue, whistles and just generally pulls some cute faces to keep us amused! He is such a funny little guy!

Finally after the lack of internet, its back again! Hopefully for good this time. We don't have much luck with it out here. Anyone would think we lived out in the country. I'll try take some more photos soon too. Xavier has grown up so much. He is now on the move and is everywhere! He thinks he is very clever too! We are really enjoying him and watching him grow. It seems as though he is a little man already. Well thats all for now and i'll try be back soon! x

oops...

Yes i know....there has been a severe lack of anything new on this page for a while! I do apologise, but we haven't sorted out the internet side of things around here yet. We are working on it! Not much has really happened though since last time. We all have the sniffles and such, but all slowly on the mend. Poor Xavier has copped it good and proper - the poor little man. But hopefully he gets better soon. Well that's all from me for now - I'll try get some more pics up soon!

getting there...

I went to IKEA yesterday with Mum! It was great fun, and i could have gone wild! But I controlled myself! Was the perfect day to go there too, the rain was pouring outside. But yes, I did buy some stuff to add to my play 'corner'! Check it out! Oh and there is a photo of Xavier too, (of course) as he was being too cute! =)

Yesterday morning was quiet for a saturday. The boss was doing work at a mates house so it was Xavier and I home together. He was being so cute and smiley so I had to get out my camera and take a pic. Such a happy little boy!
So this is our boy at 6 months & 2 days.

Here are some pics that were taken recently..well then again already nearly 2 months ago. Guess you can only tell by looking at Xavier. It's funny how time is now calculated by how Xavier is growing!! But we are really loving our little boy and he brings much joy to our hearts.

new beginnings...

Well here goes...I've never had a blog before, but i thought I'd give it a go and see how it goes. I think it's a nice way to keep up to date with family and friends who live far away - and even some that live closer, but with time running away like it does, you just never seem to see as much as you would like!

So..here goes post number one!
