sunny moments...

we had such lovely weather last thursday that we just had to enjoy the beautiful sun. we were visiting grandma for the day so we enjoyed the field views, trees, birds and of course the lovely sunny rays. the kids love the outdoors and little miss is loving the new exploring that she can do now that she's moving around everywhere. she loves the feel of the grass in between her fingers. its totally adorable watching her trying to pick up single blades of grass! i didnt have my camera so only have a few phone snaps to share, sorry :)

Tonight was one of those moments in life i love. we managed to have an earlyish dinner tonight and while cleaning up we had a spur of the moment decision...to up and go to the park for a play! :) And play we did! There we were enjoying each others company while playing at the park in the moonlight. It was such an awesome feeling! Sometimes in life its so worth doing some thing out of the ordinary, something out of routine just so you can create family memories...

"me just like Grandad"

Xavier is a true boy. When we go to my parents house he has the best time ever. He plays so well and loves being outside! The other day i went out to see how he was going and he told he that he was just like Grandad. He then promptly went on to show me why...He picked up this massive piece of timber and put it on his shoulder and strutted around the yard. Too funny! This kid loves to be just like his Grandad :) Must be a roof carpenter in the making!



Oh and i have to add a pic of our happy little girl! She is always full of smiles and i just had to snap one on my phone the other day. (So excuse the bad quality!)
